Depop / Vinted algorithm doesn’t always provide the same level of personalisation as larger platforms like Instagram or Amazon. It relies heavily on what users follow, search for which is limited by what the user knows, but doesn't always deliver highly curated recommendations based on user preferences, trends, or styles. This can make it harder to discover new clothing tailored to individual taste of fashion.
It’s harder for users to find up-and-coming sellers or trending styles unless they actively search for them, leading to more reliance on individual searches rather than platform driven discoveries.
